Everything you need before deploying your bot to your Discord server.
Setup Checklist
- Administrator Permissions: You must be server owner or hold the 'Administrator' role on the target Discord server.
- Discord Server ID: Enable Developer Mode in Discord (Settings → Advanced → Developer Mode) and right-click your server to copy the ID.
- Bot Token: Create an application in the Discord Developer Portal and retrieve the bot token.
- Privileged Gateway Intents: Ensure 'Server Members Intent' and 'Message Content Intent' are enabled in the Developer Portal.
Never share your bot token!
Your bot token acts as the bot password. Never share it with untrusted parties. Unitycord stores your token securely in encrypted configurations.
